Re-opening: June 8, 2020
Concern for our patients and staff is of utmost importance to us. We have therefore implemented several changes to our office. Some of the changes include:
-Only patients with appointments can enter (including eyeglass selection and contact lens pick ups which will be curbside)
-Patients entering must wear a mask (mandated by the College of Optometrists of Ontario)
-All staff must wear a mask and either safety goggles or faceshields when less than a 6 foot distance between each other or patients
-All patients must use provided hand sanitizer upon entry
-We have reduced how many patients we see in order to maintain physical distancing between patients
-Patient waiting room chairs have been spaced 6 feet apart
-When selecting eyeglasses, patients will be accompanied by a staff member at all times and the staff member will remove frames to be tried on and will be disinfected before being put back onto display
-New rigorous disinfection protocols (see attachment below for specific details)
