Dr. Linda Cole
Dr. Linda M.A. Cole graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry and moved to Cobourg in 1991. Prior to this she attained a Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. Her Doctor of Optometry internship was completed in-clinic at the University of Waterloo and included mobile clinics to schools, homes for seniors and special care facilities. Dr. Cole divided her week between Cobourg, Colborne and Belleville offices before establishing her full-time solo practice in Northumberland Mall in February 1994. After a second expansion in April 1999, Dr. Clement joined Dr. Cole as an associate. The doctors became partners in November 2006 when they initiated the building of their full-scope Optometry practice at 45 Covert St, which opened in February 2007. In 2009 Dr. Cole was voted “Best Optometrist” by People's Choice Awards! She enjoys the loyalty and challenges of her long-term patients and is honoured to be recommended to others. Dr Cole is always pleased to accept new patients to the practice
Dr. Anju Clement
Dr. Clement graduated from the University of Waterloo Optometry program with honours in 1996. During her training she completed an externship for ocular eye disease in Memphis, Tennessee. This training was at a Vitreo-Retinal Institute, which has given her valuable experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.In 1999, she began practicing with Dr. Cole part-time, and enjoyed it so much that she has made this her permanent full-time practice. Dr. Clement is fully trained in the co-management of laser corrective surgery, and is affiliated with TLC, and Herzig Eye Institute. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. In 2005 she received a 'Clinical Excellence Award' from Herzig Eye Institute in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the co-management of Cataract & Refractive surgery.
Dr. Annie Hsia
Dr. Annie Hsia graduated from the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry with honours in 2009. She completed her externship in ocular disease at the Bochner Eye Institute in Toronto. Dr. Hsia has an interest in children's vision as well as the treatment and management of ocular diseases. On occasion, she serves as a clinic supervisor and exam assessor for the University of Waterloo's International Optometric Bridging Program. She joined Cobourg Vision Care as an associate in 2011. Dr Hsia is accepting new patients and looks forward to meeting the visual needs of you and your family.
